Check before updating Ecomm

There are 2 ways to update Ecomm:

  • Update Automatically (Recommended): Using Insight Core plugin

  • Update Manually: Upload to Admin dashboard or FTP

#1 Update automatically

  • Navigate to Insight Core >> Welcome

  • Fill in your Purchase code and submit it. Then, you will be informed when there is an available update. Click the button Update Now then the theme will be automatically updated.

#2 Update manually

  • Download the theme package from ThemeForest and get the file ecomm-latest-version.zip

  • Upload file:

    • If you use FTP, you just have to Log in to FTP, then Update file ecomm-latest-version.zip into folder var/www/htdocs/wp-content/themes

    • If you use the Admin dashboard

      • You need to deactivate the current Ecomm theme in Appearance > Themes by simply activating a different theme. Once you activate a different theme, delete the old Ecomm theme

Then simply upload and activate the ecomm-latest-version.zip file in the Appearance > Themes section like you've done when

installing theme.
